KellyOCG is a global provider of workforce strategy, solutions, and operations, with expertise in every aspect of the talent supply chain.
Their quarterly talent leadership event, Talent Leadership in Action, brings together the brightest senior leaders in the talent space to talk about the future of work and challenge perceptions in the industry. Due to the pandemic, they had already cancelled two events and had to revise their plans for the rest of 2020.
In the past, the TLIA event was hosted for a focused group of delegates, using breakouts and roundtables to get the crux of their issues. Attendees would be taken through workgroups by leaders in the space. A standard webinar was not going to meet KellyOCG’s needs.
The ideal scenario would allow them to host presentations, breakouts and group discussions virtually. Was an event like this, at this scale possible? Plus, a complex setup like this raised questions around the stability of the tech for this wide audience.
The Podium Solution
By using Podium’s in-depth knowledge of the platforms on offer, our team found a solution that could host multiple conference formats, allowing both large and small groups to interact effectively. Our team also redesigned the event to allow for ice breakers and community building in a virtual environment. This made the event the engaging, interactive session that attendees were used to.
“Our first TLIA is in the bag and it was a massive success. Thanks guys!”
Head of Global Marketing, KellyOCG
- Kelly OCG was able to run the TLIA event in a familiar and manageable format, introducing some new exciting features to their community, and for the first time, allowed attendance form across the UK, Ireland, Israel, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Germany, Lithuania, Netherlands and the US.
- By capturing and translating the analytics from across the event, Podium could provide Kelly OCG with a deeper understanding of the successes of the TLIA and use these to build on the series, taking these learnings into the December event and beyond.
